So Raul is looking for a move to either Germany or England, we've been rumoured and everyone knows Fergie is an admirer..but is it too late? Now we have Roo, Berba, Hernandez, Macheda, Owen...or would he still add something?

It is pretty sure he is signing for Schalke 04 so I would not even consider it tbf.

If we hadn't signed Javier Hernandez then maybe I would have considered Raul.. He is the typical fox-in-the-box and he's got bagsful of experience.. But if we signed him it would be for 2 seasons at most and I do think we should focus more on the youngsters (Hernandez, Macheda, Welbeck)..

I would have taken Raul any day. He is a gem of a person, and an awesome player. And a Madrid legend in United colors would be something to wank over!

I not sure united need him now, he should sign for Gold Coast in the a-league that is a type of marquee to get fans through the gate.. He would have same effect robbie fowler had for north queensland. I mean he is a legend and for me he is one of top strikers in the late 90s early 00s him and ronaldo.. what a partnership!!

haha yeah robbie fowler and dwight yorke had huge affacts on crowd numbers here in Australia. Raul would fall into the same catagory as them for sure though I think he is keen to stay in Europe tbf. Hey grant have you seen the new Perth Glory advert for this season with Fowler?

I think he could still do a job for a team in England but I do think we have options upfront and not really sure whether he would add anything more unless Welbeck and Macheda went out on loan or something.
Wouldn't be completely suprised if he came to the Premierleague though, it looked certain he was going to Germany but his recent comments make me think maybe an English club has come in with an offer.

hmmm he has alot of work cut out for himself at Schalke. He has to fill the goal scoring boots of Kuranyi who netted 18 times last season in the Bundesliga. I like how you told me Grant that he signed on at Schalke to win trophies yet Schalke will have a tougher time at winning the league this season than last I believe. Still though like you say the Cup is a possability.

Well good luck to him, I hope he does well.
One club players (even though its obviously 2 clubs now.. you know what I mean) like the likes of him, Giggsy, Maldini etc are very hard to come by nowadays and he deserves soo much respect.
When you think of what he's done for Madrid, astonishing really.

yes I would still call him a one club man I mean he only left because he was pushed out of Madrid.
