Whats your opinion on Danny? I think hes by far our most promising player, but seems most people in here seem to disagree.

Why exactly?

Definately do not think he's our most promising youngster, then again he is a good bit younger than the likes of Evans and Gibbo so maybe I do tend to be quite harsh on him. Welbeck can be good I hope, he just seems to lack a brain sometimes when he's playing. The biggest difference between Welbeck and Macheda is that the latter seems to have more confidence and can handle being under pressure while Welbeck seems to crumble, loses his focus and then has a tendancy to do the wrong thing and give the ball away. Comparisons between Welbeck and Henry are a bit ridiculous but most comparisons of that type usually are.

For me Macheda is ahead of Welbeck in terms of chances of breaking through but Welbeck has a bit of maturing to do and learn to handle pressure and improve his decision making. Like I said, I sometimes forget Welbeck's three years or so younger than Evans and Gibson.

He's still young and needs a loan move to get some good first team experience.

I don't think it helped that Ferguson has played him at times wide.

Macheda will face a lot more pressure next season to perform, given he impressed in his limited appearances last campaign. If Tevez goes he will possibly find himself a more significant first team member.

He has potential if he works harder...he drifts too much out of the game and seems to exude an attitude that he's too good for some matches...
When he gets on the ball alot, he's excellent for his age...

Personally think he's alot better than Macheda, but experience away would do him the world of good...
Macheda is technically bland...he's good if moving, but when static he just seems clueless...

Yeah macheda when he wasn't brought on a sub with 20 minutes to go was very very disappointing.. i think wellbeck should be ahead of macheda.. wellbeck is more versatile and i think is a better player than macheda

I've only seen Wellbeck play a few times and I'm not impressed! IMO he can't cut it at Premiership level. He might improve, but there is something not quite right with his attitude. I think he thinks he's better than he actually is, in front of goal he doesn't think clearly and often makes wrong decisions. A loan spell wouldn't do him any harm. Fraizer Cambell is a better bet I think, has he gone now?

I think Fraizer is comeing back to United. I sure he only away on loan.

You see it alot in younger players these days. Someone tells them they are gonna be huge stars and they play just like [insert famous players name] so it goes to their head and then they think they are the best thing since sliced bread. Ok i don't exactly know if this is the case with Danny but if it is well he will have a short carear at United.

I have not seen much of the kid so far. Most of the games he played in last season i missed or don't really remember to well so I have no real reason to think either way, i can not make a educated opinion on the matter.
