Saturday united take on wigan atheletic at home & nothing more then a win will please the united faithfull. Apparently wigan have scored 1 more goal then united this season :o (eight) & have conceded the same number of goals as well. United on the other hand have won 6 out of thier last 7 with 6 clean sheets.

United will be expected to dominate the game & i expect a 2-0 win.....

What do you guys think?

VDS will not be fit for this game so it will be Kuzzie again.

I expect Giggs and Tevez to start this time because both only came on as subs against AS Roma.

Does anybody know whether Brown and Neville are available for this game?

It would be good it we could win this one. We are playing in the early kick off and a win would mean we would be top of the table, at least for a couple of hours.

man tevez should be the attacking mid in that case and rooney on the wing, tevez is not a winger

I prefer tevez in a more central area, dont see him playing as a winger............

Ooh Aditya, you're risking ruining United's form. We've got a thing going with people who's names begin with S starting the matchday topics and Utd winning!

I'd like to see Nani start and then any of the 3 strikers. I'd prefer Anderson to start instead of Carrick, we don't need a defensive midfielder against Wigan. So i'm thinking

-------------Kuzzie----------

O'Shea/Brown - Vida - Rio - Evra

Ronaldo - Anderson - Scholes - Nani

----------Roo ----------Saha--

Go all out attack, exploit their defence which is their weakest point especially with Bramble in there.

Carrick is injured anyway why not O'shea i think he is more reliable
-------------Kuzzie----------

Brown - Vidic - Rio - Evra

Ronaldo - O'Shea - Scholes - Nani

----------Roo ----------Saha--

and if we are still not winning by 60th min we can sub anderson for o shea and tevez for saha. I feel sorry for not putting giggs in but he is just not playing up to standard recently

Saha does not deserve to start IMO. He did nothing on Tuesday nigh, whereas Rooney scored and Tevez looked very bright when he came on. I also, like Foxy, would like to see Anderson giving a starting role, but I think for the sake of the team, I'd play O'shea.

By the way, this is my 2,000 post :P

Then i guess it will be Anderson playing as cm then, but mayb SAF will give us some kind of surprise. And i dun think Saha did nothing on tuesday night, although he did not do really much in terms of things that we are able to see eg shots, passes crosses, he provide us space with his physical presence, and he also provide a target for rooney to pass to. When tevez replace saha, u can see both of them(rooney and tevez) drifting into the midfield very very often, constantly looking for space to run at defenders, this is their style, they are used to it, but this means that we would be lack of a target man. I think that unless one of them learn to control themselves and try not to drift to the midfield that often, it is still better to field saha with one of them instead of fielding both of them at the same time. They are quality players no doubt, but they are too similar. When both rooney and tevez play, we are kinda playing a tactic call 4-6-0, seriously.
