Sorry, I don't know how to make it a quote.

Interesting that he named us first! But I doubt that means anything. He is a very good player and performed quite well in the World Cup. He has good pace, good dribbler, can score goals. He has a bit of a temper though and he has never been tested in a big league before so it would be a risk. The minimum we can pay according the club chairman of Marseille is 13.6 million pounds. Would be a decent buy for that much I think, but it will be much more with the competition.

well as far as him performing well in WC, he performed well in the later stages, early on he was very inconsistant but he came good in the end. I think that price is a little much really, should be something like 7m for him, thats more resonalbe. But really i dont think United needs him all that much

I think we do need a winger. Park looks like he's going to be out for a while, while Richardson just isn't good enough. Giggs can't play week-in, week-out. I'm not 100% sure that Ribery would be the best buy we can make, but it certainly is an option. I don't think 13.6 million is too much. You have to take into account that as soon as we get interested in someone, the prices get bumped up.

United need someone like Ribery. Giggsy is old,Richardson is awful and Park is not that goOd. so if we get Ribery we can play faster and solve our porblems in midfield.

I think he's the type of player that would do very well at United. He's not the finished article by any means, but its obvious he has potential.

But looks like a winger is not amongst Fergie's priorities

I'm yet to be convinced. To be honest I thought he had a crap World cup, he was hyped up loads by pundits yet failed to perform. I do agree that we need a winger as Richardson is useless and Park is injured, leaving us with just Ronaldo and Giggs, Eagles if he's not loaned out again.

hahahaha thats a good laugh park one of man utds best.. Ribery was an absolute star at World Cup 2006 his performances against Spain and Brazil for such a young player in his first major competition were remarkable.

Ribery is hot property in the footballing world, i think a price tag of between 10-15 million for him is fair to be honest, he worth far more than 7 thats for sure. Ribery has a good cross pity he is as ugly as a mule.

Park is goOd but I think you're over-rating him. You think Park is better than Ribery? I think Park is not a big match player but Ribery is.

I think Ribery's a class player and would do United good, but I'm not Fergie so I don't get to decide, lol. If Fergie's watching Ribery at Marseille, he should also keep an eye on Nasri... class player as well and very young.

I was a fan of Ribery, but I'm not so sure anymore. I saw him in the Coupe De France final and he was barely existent. The only way he seemed to contribute is by missing sitters. He's quite inconsistent, but he would probably be back-up to Giggsy in the first season. Maybe that would be a good learning experience for him.

One game doesn't mean much mate.

5 goals in 23 appearances for Marseille this season, and he's still young.

I don't know, he just doesn't seem "sharp" enough to be in the team. He has talent, but not quite refined yet to be in United. But then again, he could be an uncut diamond and we could do much worse than buy Ribery. Plus, I think we can all agree he's better than Kieran Richardson.
